Golden Studios Booking terms & Agreement.
By making your $200 booking fee payment, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions written here in this agreement.
Booking amendments.
Minimum and maximum booking numbers for bridal apply during peak season. A peak season booking requires a minimum of 4 clients. If your numbers go below 4, the total clients will still be charged at 4 adult persons.
As I am booking 12-24 months in advance amendments to bookings (including adding/removing numbers and location changes) should be confirmed no less than 6 months prior. I will always do my best to accomodate changes however these may be charged additionally within a 6 month timeframe.
cancellations/ postponements
If you are unwell and cannot attend your booking or there is a date change you agree to forfeit your booking fee for that original date. If you are to rebook you will be required to pay another Booking Fee to secure your new time slot. .
For bridal bookings, any cancellations within 6 months will require a 50% cancellation fee and this will be invoiced to you.
For Hair bookings, any cancellations within 2 months will require full payment this will be invoiced to you.
Wedding bookings on the day -
Please ensure all clients have followed my instructions for their hair and turn up with clean and dry hair ( all specified in a before the wedding email)ready for our arrival of the agreed start time. Any unreasonable delays to start times may impact the ability for me to complete the full booking. As I often have two bookings a day it is important everyone is ready to go xx
Bridal trials
A 45 minute bridal hair trial is included in your invoice. While this isn’t compulsory, it is strongly encouraged and cannot be deducted from your invoice. Bridal trials take alot of stress and worry out of your big day, they ensure yourself and your hair stylist are both happy with the look and you know what to expect on the day. Trials take place at my home studio (based on availability) and additional travel will be charged if you would prefer I come to you.
Please note I am also a mother of 3 young children and working fully booked seasons so I have limited times and spaces.
If following the trial, you decide you would like to change what you had asked for during our consult, a second trial can be added for an additional cost. Please if you are ever unsure about a look we have created for your big day get in touch with me asap and we will do our best to rectify and ensure you are happy.
Accommodation + Travel Fees
For out of town bookings a minimum fee of 1 night stay is required at the cost of $200 This allows Monique to arrive the night before the booking, so she is safely there and ready to start the next morning.
The travel fee from monique’s studio is charged at the rate of $1.50 per km - this is to cover mileage and time spent travelling that cannot be used to be with other clients. Flights can also be arranged if the location permits by Monique. A rental car will then also be required.
Imagery
I may share behind the scenes images, photos of my work or images granted with permission by your photographer on my social media page and in my online portfolio. Please advise if you would prefer these weren’t used.
